Meta brings new account features for quicker and easier recovery of hacked Facebook, Instagram accounts

Meta has announced that it is rolling out a new and centralised support hub that will help users recover their hacked Facebook and Instagram accounts. While acknowledging that getting help with account issues “hasn’t always met expectations”, the company also announced that it is working on significant AI-driven updates that are designed to make recovering hacked or lost accounts quicker and simpler.

According to the company, the new hub consolidates all support features into a single space within the respective apps on iOS and Android, allowing users to report issues and access recovery options more easily. These features are rolling out to all users globally.
