City police to strengthen cybercrime wing
Chennai: To strengthen its cybercrime wing, the city police have appointed an additional deputy commissioner of police and two assistant commissioners to exclusively monitor digital arrest scams, online investment frauds, and other internet-based crimes.
Additional DCP Viswanath Jain and ACPs Paul Stephen and Ragavi have been tasked with overseeing seven cybercrime teams under the supervision of DCP Geethanjali.
