Microsoft lowers AI software sales quota as customers resist new products, The Information reports
Microsoft on Wednesday denied a report from The Information that multiple divisions at the company lowered sales growth targets for certain artificial intelligence products after several sales staff missed their goals in the fiscal year that ended in June.
The source-based report cited two salespeople in the Azure cloud-computing unit, which is closely watched by investors as it is the main beneficiary of Microsoft’s AI push.
