Industry leaders: Need for cyber specialists is high in AI era

BENGALURU: Amid the rapid expansion of AI and growing cyber threats, industry leaders on Tuesday underlined the urgent need for a massive pool of trained cyber specialists. The specialists also flagged on how there is no proper infrastructure in colleges to teach students other than theory.

Sandeep Bhambure, Veeam India & SAARC vice-president and MD cautioned that rising ransomware attacks and the widening skills gap could hamper national progress.
