Gopal Vittal urges customers to use Airtel Payments Bank to keep safe against financial fraud

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director (MD) Gopal Vittal has recommended that the telecom operator’s customers use Airtel Payments Bank to make online payments, as the number of financial scams targeting vulnerable and unsuspecting Indians continues to rise.

Since Airtel Payments Bank is not a lender, customers need not deposit a large balance. Instead, they can put up a small amount of money and use it for payments.
