Difficult to regulate internet: MeitY’s Sushil Pal

NEW DELHI: It is tough to regulate the internet, and the government is finding new challenges following the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), a senior official of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) Thursday said.

“The Internet as such was very difficult to regulate, and we already had a very difficult place, and we were finding new challenges in even regulating the internet with the development and the onset of AI.” Sushil Pal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) said.
