Cyber threats surge pushing Palo Alto to ‘combat AI with AI’: CIO

Artificial intelligence, being both a sharp weapon for attackers and the primary defence for enterprises, has turned cybersecurity into a necessity, pushing companies like Palo Alto Networks to “combat AI with AI” as threat volumes explode, its chief information officer Meerah Rajavel said.
The California-based cybersecurity company processes about 3.5 billion cyberattacks a day across its 85,000 global customers, Rajavel told ET, pointing to the scale of the attacks.
