Nokia modernises RailTel ’s NLD, metro optical transport networks

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia, along with its partners, has successfully upgraded RailTel’s DWDM (dense wavelength division multiplexing) national long-distance (NLD) network nationwide.

In a joint statement on Tuesday, Nokia said it has deployed RailTel’s Carrier-Grade NAT (CG-NAT) and metro optical transport network across India.

These initiatives collectively address the growing demand for high-speed, resilient connectivity, driving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
