Cursor raises $2.3 billion at $29.3 billion valuation as Coatue, Nvidia and Google join cap table

AI coding startup Cursor has raised $2.3 billion in a new funding round that values the San Francisco-based company at $29.3 billion, bringing semiconductor major Nvidia, Coatue Management and Google in as new investors. Existing backers Accel, Andreessen Horowitz, DST Global and Thrive Capital also participated in the round.

The company said it will use the capital to strengthen research and expand its global footprint at a time when AI-powered developer tools are seeing rapid adoption across enterprises. Cursor added that it has crossed $1 billion in annualised revenue and has grown to a team of more than 300 people.
