AI to bring cleaner water, faster complaint resolution for Delhi households

New Delhi: In a move set to transform water management in the capital, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has partnered with IIT Kanpur’s Airawat Research Foundation (ARF) to develop an AI-driven urban water management model. The initiative aims to ensure faster complaint resolution, cleaner water, fewer leakages and a more reliable supply for every household.

Under the partnership, DJB and ARF will deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and Digital Twin technology to monitor and manage Delhi’s water systems more efficiently.
