Mobile sales ring loudly as shipments reach five-year high
India’s smartphone shipments reached a five-year high of 48 million, growing 4% on-year during the festive third quarter of 2025, driven by strong demand for premium models. Momentum, however, was offset by weaker demand for entry-level Android smartphones and rising prices due to component costs.
