In the era of artificial intelligence, journalism must develop not just technical skills but a responsible, ethical mindset and scribes should verify AI-generated content before use, as deepfake detection tools are now being developed, speakers said at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Maharashtra additional chief secretary (Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation) Manisha Verma suggested AI training should be designed according to participants’ experience and proficiency, focusing on hands-on learning.
