SoftBank is said to have explored potential takeover of Marvell: Bloomberg

SoftBank Group Corp explored a potential takeover of U.S. chipmaker Marvell Technology earlier this year, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday citing people familiar with the matter.

SoftBank made overtures to Marvell several months ago, but the two sides couldn’t reach an agreement on terms, the report added.
