iOS 26.1 drops any day now, and these hidden iPhone upgrades will blow you away
Apple released the iOS 26.1 Release Candidate (RC) on Tuesday, a month after iOS 26 came out. The earlier iOS 26 update introduced big features like Liquid Glass, call screening, and more. The new RC version brings extra settings and tools like new Liquid Glass controls and a security upgrade option.
Since this is a test version (RC), experts suggest installing it only on non-primary devices because it could still have bugs or short battery life, as per the report by CNET. Apple usually releases RC versions a week or two before the public version, so iOS 26.1 could drop anytime soon.
