OpenAI, Paypal partner to power agentic payments in ChatGPT
Paypal has joined hands with OpenAI to enable agentic payments on the latter’s conversational AI chatbot, ChatGPT, according to a company statement on Tuesday.
The digital transactions platform said it will adopt the agentic commerce protocol (ACP) to expand payments and commerce in ChatGPT. This will allow users to make in-app payments using their bank account, Paypal balance, and cards while using Instant Checkout for shopping on ChatGPT.
