Vodafone Idea gets relief as Supreme Court allows review of AGR dues

CHENNAI: The Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Union government to review Vodafone Idea’s adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues, providing much-needed relief to the financially stressed telecom operator. The move opens a policy window that could ease the company’s massive financial burden and strengthen its chances of survival in India’s competitive telecom market.
