TEC inks pact with IIT Hyderabad for joint studies in 6G, NTN, Open RAN, telecom standards

NEW DELHI: The telecom department’s (DoT) technical arm, Telecommunication Engineering Centre, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the IIT Hyderabad to collaborate on joint research, contributions, and development of India-specific standards in advanced technologies.

TEC and IIT Hyderabad further aim to enhance India’s participation in the International Telecommunication Union–Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) study groups.
