Quick delivery of gold, silver coins on the rise this Dhanteras

Quick commerce platforms are witnessing a sharp uptick in gold and silver coin sales this Dhanteras, with half-gram to 10-gram coins now available for ultra-fast delivery. Platforms have expanded their festive offerings and created dedicated Diwali sections featuring discounts on puja items, utensils, electronics, home décor, and precious metals.

Swiggy’s Instamart recorded a fivefold jump in gold and silver coin sales compared to last year, along with growing demand for silver bricks. “While Bengaluru continues to lead, Chennai, Hyderabad, and NCR are showing strong traction for precious metal purchases. Smaller denominations of silver coins remain the most popular,” a company spokesperson said.
