Indian digital mapping company MaymyIndia has expressed gratitude to Union IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for publicly praising the company’s indigenous navigation platform, Maples, calling it a ‘great swadeshi app’. In a post shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) Vaishnaw wrote, “Mappls by MapmyIndia is a great swadeshi app. Let’s use more such apps and support our own ecosystem.” This endorsement made by minister was met with appreciation from MapmyIndia, which responded, “Thank you Hon’ble Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw ji for your kind words and support for #Swadeshi #Aatmanirbhar apps like #Mappls. We are committed to building world-class indigenous technology for India and the world.”
