Mitsubishi Electric India eyes next leap with local R&D, semiconductor partnerships, e-factory solutions

As India’s manufacturing ambitions gather pace under the Make in India and PLI schemes, Mitsubishi Electric India, a subsidiary of Japan’s Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, is aligning its strategies around localisation, digitalisation, and sustainability. The company is deepening its Make in India strategy with new factories in Pune and Chennai, while building a semiconductor talent base through local partnerships.
