Vinod Khosla comes to OpenAI’s support on Sora 2 app, that critics called “terrifying”

ChatGPT creator OpenAI recently launched its new video-generation tool — Sora 2. Now, billionaire venture capitalist Vinod Khosla has stepped in to defend the platform. Khosla has also criticised the critics for their narrow-mindedness. In a post shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) Khosla — one of the early investors in OpenAI has dismissed the negative reactions to Sora 2 as elitist and shortsighted. “Let the viewers of this ‘slop’ judge it, not ivory tower luddite snooty critics or defensive creatives,” he wrote, referring to those who have labeled the app as “AI slop” or “brain rot.” He further described detractors as “tunnel vision creatives.”
