Ericsson deploys private 5G for Airbus in Hamburg, plans to expand globally
NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson said it has successfully deployed a private 5G solution at the Airbus production site in Hamburg, adding that another deployment is expected to conclude in Toulouse, France, by 2026.
The deployment, part of Airbus’ digitalisation strategy, aims to strengthen the aerospace and defence company’s manufacturing automation, traceability, and operational efficiency while meeting safety and security standards.
