Meta announces launch of APAC’s ‘largest capacity subsea cable’ in 2028
US tech giant Meta has announced the launch of the largest capacity subsea cable in the Asia-Pacific region, called Candle, in 2028.
Candle will span approximately 8,000 kilometres, bringing increased connectivity to Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, the company said in a statement.
