AMD and OpenAI have announced a multi-year agreement wherein the ChatGPT-maker will get hundreds of thousands of AI chips from Nvidia-rival, potentially generating tens of billions in annual revenue. The deal also offers OpenAI an option to acquire up to 10% of the US-based semiconductor company.
