Snapchat to start charging users for saving old photos and videos: Here’s how to download them for free
Snapchat is introducing fees for users storing over five gigabytes (GB) of content in its Memories feature. Since its debut in 2016, Memories—which allows users to save photos and videos originally shared for just 24 hours—has been free. Under the new rules, anyone exceeding the five-GB limit will need to subscribe to continue accessing their saved content.
