Bombay HC dismisses Anil Ambani’s petition against SBI’s ‘fraud’ classification to RCom loan account

The Bombay High Court on Friday dismissed a writ petition filed by Anil Ambani against the State Bank of India (SBI), challenging its decision to classify the loan account of Reliance Communications as ‘fraud’.
The petition also named the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a respondent.
The division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Neela Gokhale, in its oral order, dismissed a writ petition citing that it lacked merit. The detailed order was not uploaded till the time of filing the story.
