Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth wants managers to follow this guide to resolve workplace conflicts: ‘I’ve done this so many times…’

Facebook parent Meta’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Andrew Bosworth, has shared a four-step plan for resolving interpersonal conflicts in the workplace. With this plan, he has urged professionals to prioritise seeking valuable feedback over letting ego take control. In a recently published personal blog post, Bosworth stated that this approach has helped him “countless times.” He noted that he is now able to recognise an emotional reaction in himself “when it would be more productive to find the value in it.” Bosworth’s advice is directed at the reality that workplace conflicts spare no one, often requiring even C-suite executives to find a way to navigate them.
