UN Resolution on AI Governance

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution to strengthen global governance of artificial intelligence (AI) with the creation of the Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence and the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance.

The resolution establishes a formal framework for scientific assessment and international cooperation on AI, focused exclusively on non-military applications.
