HFCL bags contracts for 40-45% of GPs under BharatNet Phase 3, commences gear supply: Executive

NEW DELHI: A top executive of homegrown telecom gear maker HFCL said it has won deals in 40-45% gram panchayats (GPs) under the BharatNet Phase 3 programme, and has started supplying its network equipment.

“Directly as well as through our consortium partner, HFCL, we have won three packages in three states. But those three states are almost 40% to 45% of the total GP requirement being tendered,” Jitendra Chaudhary, executive president (communications), HFCL, told ETTelecom.
