Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang: OpenAI will be the next big multi-trillion-dollar company
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has made a huge prediction for OpenAI. In a recent interview, the co-foudner and President of the chip making giant has claimed that the Microsott-backed AI startup is sert to become the world’s next multi-trillion dollar company. Speaking on the BG2 podcast, Huang compared OpenAI’s future to current giants like Meta and Google, which operate consumer and enterprise services. “I think that OpenAI is likely going to be the next multi-trillion dollar hyperscale company,” Huang said. He also emphasized that this outlook makes the opportunity to invest in OpenAI one of “the smartest investments we can possibly imagine.” Huang detailed that Nvidia is expanding its partnership with OpenAI to include building the firm’s first self-built AI infrastructure, working directly with them “at the chip level, at the software level, at the systems level.” This new project is additive to Nvidia’s existing work with OpenAI via Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
