BSNL 4G project needed 16x jump in BTS manufacturing capacity: Tejas Networks’ Sanjay Malik

NEW DELHI: Tejas Networks said the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) commercial 4G deployment deal required a 16x jump in its manufacturing capacity at the peak for churning out base stations. A top executive of the homegrown telecom gear maker said it is also working with the Department of Space (DoS) to provide Internet of Things (IoT)-driven connectivity to fishermen at ports.
