Flipkart launches post-purchase protection program ‘Trust Shield’

Flipkart has launched a post-purchase protection program called the Flipkart Trust Shield that is aimed to make Flipkart the single point of contact for product-related issues within 30 days of delivery. The program covers accidental damage, liquid ingress, and manufacturer warranty claims for large appliances, mobiles, and select electronics.

In a press release, the company said that customers can report issues directly on the Flipkart app, with assured resolution within two working days and in-app claim tracking. The program applies to products such as ACs, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and microwaves.
