EU clears Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance’s ₹855 cr-JV with Zuckerberg’s Meta

The European Union has cleared the proposed joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Meta Platforms to build enterprise-focused artificial intelligence solutions, ET Now reported Friday.

The joint venture, announced last month at RIL’s Annual General Meet (AGM), will invest about ₹855 crore (US$100 million), with Reliance holding a 70% stake and Meta 30%. The entity will use Meta’s open-source Llama models and Reliance’s enterprise reach to offer AI tools across sectors.
