Oracle will bring this big change to the ‘complicating factor’ in TikTok deal

Oracle will implement significant modifications to TikTok’s algorithm following an anticipated executive order from President Donald Trump later this week, a White House official confirmed. Under the proposed agreement to transfer TikTok’s US operations to a consortium of American investors, Oracle will be tasked with developing and securing a US-specific version of the platform’s algorithm.

According to a report by Bloomberg, the plan has been outlined by the official and it will ensure that the new US-based owners will control TikTok’s recommendation software – which has been a complicating factor in any past deal.
