H1-B visa price hike: Applicants who will be exempted from paying $100,000 fee

US President Donald Trump has signed a new executive order that imposes a $100,000 fee on all H-1B visa applications, a move that will reshape the future of the visa program. The new fee is to be paid by companies hiring these workers to live and work in the United States. While the order has caused concern, it does include some exemptions.
