More efforts needed to drive 5G uptake across sectors: DoT’s Neeraj Mittal

NEW DELHI: Despite an expeditious roll-out of fifth-generation technology nationwide, more concerted efforts are needed to drive its adoption among various sectors, said a senior Department of Telecommunications (DoT) official on Friday.

“Much as we can take pride in achievements, there is a long way to go in terms of what we need to do as we move forward. There is much to do in the adoption of 5G across sectors,” Neeraj Mittal, secretary, Department of Telecommunications said.
