Innovative 5G applications coming soon: Airtel’s Randeep Sekhon

NEW DELHI: The boom in artificial intelligence (AI) adoption has positioned telecom at the center of schemes, and it will lead to the emergence of more fifth-generation (5G) services, according to India’s second-largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel.
“Telecom will come back into an even more important role in day-to-day functions to make AI work seamlessly. Telecom will be at the center of it,” Randeep Sekhon, chief technology officer (CTO), Bharti Airtel, said.
