Tata Electronics iPhone shipments ring in maximum gains from US

Kolkata: Apple’s iPhone shipments to the US accounted for nearly 37% of Tata Electronics’ FY25 revenue, reflecting the smartphone maker’s push to shift production to India from China to diversify its global manufacturing footprint amid President Donald Trump’s tariff threats. Exports of the iPhone to the US contributed more than ₹23,112 crore of the Indian assembler’s revenue in the last financial year.

Ireland was the second-largest revenue contributor for Tata Electronics at 23% or ₹14,255 crore. Notably, Ireland is the European base for Apple. Exports to Taiwan contributed 15% while domestic market shipments were at 20% of revenues, showed the Tata Group company’s regulatory disclosures to the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
