Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has joined the elite $3 trillion market-cap club after its shares rallied more than 3% on Monday. The surge comes on the back of easing regulatory worries, robust demand for its cloud services and growing investor enthusiasm around artificial intelligence.
Monday’s pushing the tech giant’s valuation past the $3 trillion threshold for the first time. Alphabet now joins Apple, Microsoft and Nvidia among the world’s most valuable listed companies.
