Man arrested for duping senior doctor of Rs 6.69 lakh

A 33-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly duping a senior cardiologist at a hospital in south Delhi of more than Rs 6.69 lakh by posing as an Army Cantonment official seeking medical consultations for defence personnel, police said on Thursday.

The accused, Jalaluddin alias Jallu, hailing from Rajasthan’s Alwar, has at least seven cases of cheating and forgery registered against him across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan, they said.
