Reliance Jio adds more active users than Airtel for 5th straight month in July: Jefferies
NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio’s active subscriber market share increased by 150 basis points (bps) to 43% in the last 12 months till July, driven by gains across all circles, while the third-ranked telecom carrier Vodafone Idea (Vi) declined during the same period, according to Jefferies.
“Over the past 12 months, Reliance Jio’s active subscriber market share has increased by 150bps to 43%, driven by market share gains across circles (100bps/110bps/190bps/150bps in Metros/A/B/C-Circles),” the brokerage firm said in a recent research note. “…Jio added more active subscribers than Bharti for the 5th straight month.”
