NEW DELHI: Homegrown handset maker Lava said it has started gaining volumes from declining rival brands, and aims to capture a 10% volume share in the sub-₹30,000 price range in the next three to five years, driven by feature-packed smartphones.
“We are focusing on the sub-₹30,000 market. Our plan is that within the next 3–5 years, we should cross 10% market share in this segment. Three years is the earliest target, and five years is the outer limit,” Sunil Raina, MD, Lava International, told ETTelecom in an interview.
