Amazon changes shipping perk for Prime members: All you need to know
Amazon has made a significant change to its Prime membership perks. The latest decision will mark an end to the program that allowed Prime members to share the free two-day shipping benefit with people who do not use the same primary address, The Associated Press reported.
As per the update shared in the customer service section on Amazon’s official website, the company will eliminate the sharing on October 1, 2025. Post that, users outside the household of a Prime member will be required to sign up for their own membership.
