BSNL to soon launch its own digital payment service ‘BSNL Pay’
State-owned telecom provider BSNL may soon launch its own digital payment service, BSNL Pay, which will be powered by the BHIM UPI framework. This new service will be integrated into the telco’s existing Selfcare app, rather than being released as a standalone application. BSNL has not yet announced a formal launch date.
“BSNL Pay – Coming Soon! A new digital step by BSNL. Now UPI payments will be Secure | Swift | Smart, directly through the BSNL Selfcare App, powered by BHIM,” said a post by BSNL UP (East) Circle twitter handle.
