WhatsApp launches in-app AI feature ‘Writing Help’ to help users refine messages
WhatsApp has introduced a new AI-powered tool called “Writing Help” that lets users rephrase, proofread, or change the tone of their messages, the Meta-owned platform announced on Wednesday.
In a post on X, WhatsApp explained that the new feature makes use of Meta’s Private Processing technology. This means users can get AI-generated suggestions without Meta or WhatsApp seeing the original messages or the rewrites. So privacy is still protected, even when using the tool.
