Top US lawyers’ ‘AI warning’ to Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Facebook and others: ‘Don’t hurt kids or…’
A group of top lawyers in the US has issued an open letter to technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, ChatGPt-maker OpenAI, Elon Musk’s xAI and Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, among others, warning them to keep children safe from AI chatbots, or face severe legal consequences. The letter, sent by 44 state attorneys general from across the US and its territories this week, said, “Don’t hurt kids. That is an easy bright line.”
