Dream Sports-owned FanCode to shut sports merchandise store by year-end
Dream Sports-owned FanCode is set to wind down its online sports merchandise marketplace, FanCode Shop, by the end of this year, people aware of the matter said. The decision follows challenges around business viability and the proliferation of counterfeit products that limited growth prospects.
Launched in 2021, FanCode Shop was positioned as a platform for authentic sports merchandise, offering official jerseys, fan gear and collectibles through tie-ups with IPL franchises, the NBA, ICC events and international football clubs.
