Apple ties up with Jio to enable ‘RCS’ messaging service on iPhones
Mumbai: Apple has struck its first Indian telecom partnership with Reliance Jio to enable Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging on iPhones, people aware of the matter told ET.
With this integration, Jio users on iPhones can exchange iMessage-style “blue tick” RCS texts with high-resolution media over WiFi or mobile data at no additional cost.
