    GenAI boom drives faster startup growth

    Startups are growing faster than ever, thanks to the GenAI boom. Pre AI, the gold standard for an enterprise startup, was hitting $1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within its first year.

    Today, an average AI company is clocking in $2.1 million in the same timeframe, with the top 1% racing past $5.3 million, according to analysis by VC firm a16z.
