Delhi’s Industrial Policy

The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has unveiled its “Delhi Industrial Policy (2025–2035)” with a clear focus on transforming the city into a hub for Frontier Technology Services. This policy, valid for ten years from its notification date, marks a strategic pivot toward high-value, innovation-driven sectors. The objective is to harness Delhi’s educated workforce, limited land resources and robust connectivity to build a sustainable, non-polluting industrial ecosystem that generates quality employment and global competitiveness.
The Frontier Tech Services segment covering Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Big Data, Gaming, Animation & Rendering, 3D Printing, Biotechnology and IT & ITeS as a priority growth engine. Recognising Delhi’s predominantly service-oriented economy, the policy underscores the IT & ITeS sector’s central role in contributing to GDP, creating skilled jobs and integrating advanced technology across industries such as telecom, finance, education, healthcare
